Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance takes the renowned METAL GEAR franchise into new and exciting territory, focusing on delivering an all-new action experience unlike anything that's come before.

There's a saying that you shouldn't come with a knife in a gunfight, but the newest Metal Gear Rising Revengeance trailer clearly shows us that if you have a sword and your name is Raiden, you can face some cyborgs who shoot you with all kinds of machine guns and rocket launchers.

In Metal Gear Rising Revengeance, the action will take place 3 years after the so-called Big Shell Incident and captures the series of events that will transform Raiden into that ninja-cyborg seen for the first time in the fourth part of the Guns of the Patriots series.

The game features Raiden as the central character; a child soldier transformed into a half-human, half-machine cyborg ninja equipped with a high-frequency katana blade and a soul fueled by vengeance.
